January 21-29 are the days against fur trade in Russia. The coordinator of actions is the Aliance for Animals Rights (Moscow). The organizers of actions in Altai Region are NGO Ecological Club of Altai State University and Tigireksky nature reserve.

There will be a protest action in Barnaul city against non-human attitude to animals, cruelty to animals at animal farms and against capturing them using traps for the sake of furs.

This action will take place in Barnaul in January 27.

Russian animals' defenders intend to stop fur-bearing animals breeding and to impose a ban on using the traps.
